Welcome to AHN! We are happy you are here and we look forward to getting to know you and work with you! On your first visit, here is what you can expect:
fill out your paperwork ahead of time
If you are new to Advanced Health of Naperville, please take a moment to fill out the New Patient form(s) prior to your first visit!
You will fill out our paperwork either online or 15 minutes before your appointment at our office.
We will check your insurance and share the benefits with you including any out-of-pocket costs such as copays, co-insurance or deductibles.
If you don't have insurance that covers our services, we will go over our cash pricing, which will be due at the time of service.
You will have a consultation and exam with one of our doctors. This can last anywhere between 30 - 60 minutes.
With most patients, we are able to adjustment and give you your first treatment the same day. If we don't feel you are a chiropractic candidate, we will refer you out of our office.
A plan will be created to help you with your health goals. This will include any services the doctor would like to include such as therapeutic massage, Graston, cupping, therapies or PT. We don't require long-term treatment plans, and usually start a patient out with 6 visits and see how they are progressing.
The doctor will go over a few things you can do at home to help speed your healing or help you strengthen. We will also go over your daily ergonomics in the first visit or two.
You will go back to the front desk and we will help you schedule your follow-up visits as needed.
One of the benefits of seeing a chiropractic physician is how we are licensed in Illinois. As a chiropractor, we are able to perform an exam on you, formulate a diagnosis, create a treatment plan and treat you on the same day. This is unique and allows us to help you feel better as soon as possible. Since we have 3 full-time chiropractors, we usually can get you in within a day or two to start this process, avoiding a long waiting period that you may experience with other offices. If you are not a chiropractic candidate or we feel we need to refer you out for additional testing we will do so.
