what it is
Graston technique therapy is helpful in effectively treating all soft tissue conditons, whether they are acute, chronic, or post-surgical. The unique protocol and specialized instruments help identify and treat scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This results in restoring range of motion, eliminating pain, and restoring normal function.
Dr. Christine is a certified Graston provider. Graston is a specialized form of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). Graston is well known for its results on both acute and chronic injuries, the unique instruments used, and the specialized training. It is widely used in many therapy settings. Graston differs from other IASTM techniques because of its unique protocol and technique that has been researched for over 20 years.

Traction/Flexion Distraction
Traction and Flexion Distraction are two of our newest services at AHN. These are decompression therapies that take pressure off of the spine and the discs, allowing the nerves that come out of them to function properly. This form of therapy helps relieve pain, increase range of motion and can greatly reduce radicular symptoms (pain going down your arm or leg). Many patients can stay away from more invasive treatments like injections or surgery with a combination of chiropractic and traction. Our patients at AHN are loving our new table!
